Condolences
Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dad and brother. As well to all of his dear close friends, our condolences. May he rest in peace.
Robert, Ida and family, River Bourgeois.
Our sincerest condolences to all the family on the loss of Francis J. I had known Francis J. as family (first cousin) when I lived in Mabou. We became close friends when he moved to River Bourgeois. When Francis' health was better he would visit us in Port Hawkesbury to sit and talk. We made many trips together for doctor and other medical appointments and we again shared stories and the latest news. Francis J. would also call me in the evenings to chat or wanted my opinion about whatever the topic was. We would talk about events that were happening and the local, provincial and federal political events that were in the news. I will be missing that connection with Francis J. May he rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear that Francis J. had passed. His photo is just the way I remember him. Sending our deepest condolences and love to all the MacDonnell family. We are so sorry for your loss.
My sincere sympathy to all Francis J’s family. Always a friendly & happy-go-lucky guy whenever I met him at Pam & Jackie’s over many years. May it be a little comfort to know friends are praying for Francis J & all his family at this time of great loss.

My condolences to the MacDonnell family, Francis J was always a friend to me and all my siblings, especially Allan and being with him around the garage. I am sure they are talking about lots of incidents that took place there over the years. Fond memories, RIP Francis J
My sincere condolences to Francis' family and friends. He and I shared many games of Crib, of which he won, the majority of. He was a great neighbour and will be missed.
Sad to hear of the news of Francis J’s passing. Was a valued member of the Back Street kids back in the the day. Don’t remember when we last saw him. I can only imagine the pain and suffering that Francis J had over his life with his kidney ailments. Also remembered with a great sense of humour and a ready smile. From all appearances, he led a happy life. Our deepest condolences to his son and his brothers and sisters.
My condolences to all his family. Had many good times with Francis. The funniest story from him was when he lived in Edmonton around Christmas and he and the guys didn't have a tree. Francis seen one on a building yard, hooked a chain to it and to his truck! The guys had a merry Christmas. Will never forget him.

Hi I am John Alexander Beaton, Francis's Cousin. I remember whenever Francis was in the city of Halifax he would always make a point of visiting my mother, Mary Catherine. I also remember Mom would be so pleased to see Francis as she would mentioned him for days afterward and how she enjoyed Francis's visit.I can just see Mom now welcoming Francis into heaven with the words ''Enter YOU ARE A GOOD A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF THE LORD''.
