Aunt Lena was truly one of a kind. Thoughtful, kind, loving, cherished every moment with family and friends. She was always there with a helping hand and great advice. She will be missed.

Lena was always an excellent cook. I remember Dawn and l would have sleepovers and Lena would make donairs… straight from scratch! They were so very delicious! You will be missed by many, Lena…

I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Lena, from when I was a small child right up until she passed. She was so much fun to be around. She made the best flap jacks and chocolate cake. I have sweet memories of all her visits, her advice will forever be cherished. Dawn your mom may be gone, but I’m sure her spirit is very busy right now, lighting candles to ease your pain. She was so proud of you and the girls. She was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom, my deepest condolences to you and your family. She was a wonderful soul! I also have to mention that she has been on my mind every year since our high school days. Mainly because every Birthday cake since (and there have been a few...), have always been compared to the benchmark she set with her unforgettable chocolate B-day cakes she baked for me. Some have come close, but I believe she added an extra little shot of "Lena Love" into the recipe that could only come from her.

I know there are no words that I can say to you to tell you how broken my heart is for all of you. She would often ask about my Daughter's kids after she died at 41 years old. She fought through seven cancers so she could live for her kids but she lost her battle in 2016.

It was a shock to hear that your Mother was sick with that terrible disease. I know how proud she was of her Family especially her Granddaughters. May God bring you comfort for all the memories she left behind. I Pray that you take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering the pains of this life.

I'm forever grateful to have had the honor to care for such an amazing, caring and well loved lady. I had only known her for a short time but I enjoyed her eye for perfection and straight lines.
