Our sincere condolences to Colleen, Neil, Russell and families. We never went to “the River” without a visit to John and Alma’s. Besides those visits, we have great memories of them enjoying time at our cottage with swims and campfires at the beach. When you were in Uncle John’s presence you knew you had his undivided attention! He was a great people person, kind, sincere and always welcoming. He will be missed. Allan and Jeanne Burke

My sincere sympathies to you Colleen, Neil, Russell and family. Your Dad's smiles and his "Hi! Hi!" greeting at the Villa when I walked by him are some of my fonder memories of his days as a resident of the Richmond Villa. I'll remember him at the window sunning himself as he watched the world going by. He enjoyed his outdoor outings and had many during the good weather. Was always excited to see his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Lots of smiles when the little ones were around. I also remember fondly a camping trip in Keji with your Mom and Dad. Our adventurous Uncle John. Lots of lively card games at the house home too. You all deserve such high praise for the love and devotion you always showed him in such difficult times. Hold on to those happy memories now that he has earned his rest in peace... Hugs to All, Anne
