Obituary of Joseph Roy Forgeron

FORGERON, Roy Joseph - Arichat It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Joseph Forgeron of Arichat, which occurred at his residence in Arichat on June 28, 2024. Born June 14, 1944, in West Arichat, he was the son of the late Raymond and Blanche (Meunier) Forgeron. He was a kind soul, always willing to help someone Loved to make you laugh when you needed it. He was a very special part of his niece Kim Forgeon’s life. Roy will surely be missed. Roy is survived by his daughter Cynthia Marchand, Louisdale; son-in-law Michael “Mike” (Sherri) Fauvelle, Little Harbour; grandchildren Jean-Marc (Marisa) Fauvelle, Little Harbour, and Jason (Emily) Fauvelle, Truro; great-grandchild Jethro Fauvelle, Little Harbour; brother Edward (Yvonne Samson), Petit de Grat; sister Linda Dorey (Elmer), St. Mary’s. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Charlene Fauvelle; brother George Forgeron. He was also pre-deceased by his wife, Diane Nicholls. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation per request. A graveside service, and burial with take place on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat at 11 am with Rev. John Duncan MacIsaac officiating. A reception will be held at the Acadiaville Community Hall in West Arichat following the burial. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., in Aricht.
