Obituary of Anthony Gustave Tony Landry

LANDRY, Anthony Gustave “Tony”, 83 of Petit de Grat It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Gustave Landry “Tony” of Petit de Grat who passed away on September 3rd, 2024, at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish. Born October 28, 1940, in Petit de Grat, he was the son of the late Gustave Harry and Margaret (DeCoste) Landry Tony is survived by his daughters Margaret (Stephen) Fougere, and Theresa Landy; grandchildren Bradley, Cody, Dylan, Samantha, Dalton, and Melissa; sisters Betty Boucher, and Vivian (John) Pelrine; brother Douglas (Carol Bonin) Landry; several nieces, nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Ann Patricia (Dobbin) Landry; sisters Sylvia Dolimont, and Carmella Clannon; brothers-in-law Pat Dolimont, and Garvey Clannon. There will be no visitation per request. A funeral mass will take place on September 11th, at St. Joseph’s Church, Petit de Grat, at 11 am with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Committal to follow at the Acadiaville Columbarium in West Arichat. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 in Arichat will be hosting a reception at the Legion in Arichat at noon.
