We were in Punta Cana together for a wedding, Kyle and my dad hung out in the pool and swim up bar all day, got MEGA burnt, like im talking heat stroke burnt! Nothing stopped Kyle from missing the fun, he carried on into the evening like he was just getting started with Adelle and I and we danced all night!! he always had a way to make you feel like you were the only person in the room, your very own body guard, your very best friend. You had such an amazing impact on everyone who knew you, forever missed my friend.

The first time Kyle came to Bruce power he rented a room from me. From that day forward even when Kyle moved out, we remained friends. We would talk at least once a week whether it was words or a video on Snapchat. My heart is absolutely broken. Kyle was nothing less then a gentleman and I’m really gonna fucking miss him. I love you man and I can’t wait to see you again….

Kyle was such a lovely soul. We really lost an amazing man. We were just talking about going to a Leafs game together. I will forever be cheering on the team for him! I know all of the people in our beautiful communities will be there to support you all, but I can’t imagine the pain that you all must be feeling. I will be praying for you all through this.

My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you all - I had the honor of knowing Kyle, not closely but through my sister Courtney, and it’s my hope that your family can find some level of comfort in the tremendous outpouring of memories and love from those who knew him.

I learned from losing my brother that it’s with their passing that we may come to know them best - the impact they had on others, the community of loved ones they left behind, and of their legacy that will live on.

The obituary definitely had it right when it said “To know Kyle, is to love Kyle”. Please take care of yourselves during this difficult time.

My heart is with Kyle's parents Joyce and Blair and his sister Kayla and his beloved nieces as well as extended family. Kyle played a huge role in both my teenage and young adult years and I will always hold the memories we shared close to my heart. From drives to Sydney in the Tercel, movie dates at Tyler's house, beach days, all the parties over the years, all the random get togethers at our grandparent's (who also adored him) house in Whiteside or his at parent's house, all of the big bear hugs when seeing each other after time apart, and Kyle's genuine "how are you doings" when we would reunite; I will cherish every single memory and never forget his smile, kind heart, or big laugh. I have no doubt he impacted so many people because he impacted me greatly. He is a rare gem.
