His life touched and influence so many lives in positive ways. Remember that we should not say Good Bye; rather say, until we meet again. Diane,Eddie,Ricky,Jimmy and John and all of your family and friends I have known Bill since I was a little girl. What a pleasure it was to have known him and the love that he had for his family. Bill always had a smile even though it was a rotten day fishing. He always had lots of fishing stories that he shared with his fellow fisherman and of course his boys. Bill was very proud of his boys and what they have become. May you find the strength in the following days to come. Rest in peace Bill. Gone but will never be forgotten!
To the family, friends, extended family and those who are still living in Newfoundland: Bill's passing came too soon and as a surprise to me. I met and spoke to him shortly before he entered the hospital and he told me that he was feeing pretty good. I have known Bill since he moved here, he was among the young men who left their families and friends in NF to come and fish in Petit de Grat. They were intrumental in bringing work to the area and soon became a prosperous place to live. I remember those days and today as I say goodbye to Bill, I promise not to forget what he did for us and I offer him a huge Thank-You! To his wife, boys, friends of Bill, I want to offer my sincerest sympathies... God will take great care of him and he will remain very close to his family. From heaven, he will continue to take care of all of you. God Bless You!
