Bungay William "Bill" - 64, Sampson's Cove, passed away peacefully April 24 2012 at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Harbour Breton NL, he was a son of the late William Norman and Bridget (Skinner) Bungay. Bill was an avid fisherman and truly enjoyed the good times that he spent with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Mary Diane Samson , sons Eddie (Tanya) Petit De Grat, Ricky Halifax, Jimmy (Stephanie) Windsor Ont., John (Lisa) New Glasgow; 7 grandchildren, Brandon and Connor and their mom Tanya, C.J., Josh, Landon, Lincoln and Lexi; brothers, Norman(Ada), d'Espoir, NL, Reg (Sandra) ,Harbour Breton NL, Ed (Winnie), Arichat, Fred (Elaine), Max (Emmie) both of Harbour Breton NL., Roy(Sharon) Little Anse; sisters, Beatrice Benoit(Paul),St. Albans NL. and Joan Johnson St. John's NL. He was predeceased by brother Jim. Visitation will be held Friday, April 27. 2012 in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat from 3 - 5 and 6 - 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, in Petit De Grat, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in the Star of the Sea Cemetery Petit De Grat . Memorial donations can be made to the Autism Society of Cape Breton (Strait Area Branch). Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
