Obituary of Allister Coliste Marshall

Marshall, Allister Coliste - 67, Chapel Island First Nation "Potlotek", who passed away at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on May 26, 2012. Born in Potlotek, he was the son of the late James and Mary Ellen (Nicholas) Marshall. Allister was a former Councillor of the Potlotek First Nation and also worked for the Potlotek Fisheries Department, a devoted member of Environment Canada. He also worked for Brinks Security in Boston, Mass. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of years of 36 years, Mary Veronica (Vicaire) Marshall; daughter, Rhonda, Chapel Island and her children, Chelsey and Amber; son, Coliste, Indian Brook and his daughter Siobhan Beach and her son Blayze Beach both of Truro; brother, Kenzie, Chapel Island and sister, Anne Dionne, Ontario. Visitation will be held at the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Chapel on Chapel Island from Tuesday at 4 p.m. till Thursday morning at 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Allister will be held Thursday morning at 11 in the Immaculate Conception Church in Barra Head with Rev. Lourdusamy Mariadoss officiating. Burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barra Head. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
