To Bernadette's children, her brother, sisters and many friends: Bernadette was a real nice person to me. I have never met her when she didn't have this welcoming smile of hers. Many times I opened her the door when she was coming for a card game at her sister Delima at the Senior Home. The smiles were plentiful then. Cards certainly was one of her favorite hobbies... I am proud to say that I have been very fortunate in getting to know Bernadette, she has touched me in many ways. She was a very kind, caring and thoughtful individual. Our sincere sympathies to all her family & friends. I am sure that she will be dearly missed, however, its a blessing that she did not suffer too much. When sickness strikes, the Lord knows exactly what He is doing when He calls them home. Remember all the good times, the beautiful memories and acts of kindness that she has done. She will look over you from heaven and will remain very close to you even in her absence. Take courage! God Bless You All!

Fo many summers, Henry, I and family were welcomed to the kitchen table for Bernie's tasty meat pie and best ever stewed fish! Henry always said Bernies cooking was the closest to Moma Samson's.
