Dear Blair, Joan, Justin and Andrew: So sorry about your dad, Blair. We are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. The on-line photos clearly demonstrate a man who enjoyed life and was surrounded by lots of love & a great family; hopefully that will provide some peace and comfort during this sad time. Take care, Monique, Alain, Max, Luc et Liam
Leona, the boys, Amos's brothers, sisters & friends: God came to get another one of his flock home. He saw that Amos had done everything that he possibly could in the time that he had spent on this earth and it was time for him to reap his reward. Its very hard to lose someone, especially when death occurs in such a short time. However, Its better to let them go rather than see them suffer. Amos will remain close to his family, he will look over them and still tend to their needs from heaven. He was a kind& dedicated person, always had a smile for others and that is what life is all about, treating your fellowmen with graciousness. Amos did that. To all his family, we offer you sincere condolences. Keep your courage, remember the good times, precious memories that you have of him. God Bless You All!
Our sincerest condolences to all of Amos ' family. May God give you strength at this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympaties to all the David family. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Some of my earliest memories of Amos are as a young boy. I would arrive early morning and Timmy and I would peddle our bikes to Pondville for swimming lessons. He always had a smile and a positive outlook. I also have fond memories of early morning trips to Port Hawksbury when he would give me a ride to AECL back in 84 while I was doing my on the job training. He was a kind and gentle man with a positive outlook. He will be greatly missed by all fortuneate to have known him. Fair Winds And Trailing Seas.

À la famille David: My deepest sympathies to all of you on the passing of a great man, husband, dad, Pépé and friend. My earliest memory of Amos is during swimming lessons at Pondville Beach and somehow memories of him are often associated with water: swimming, fishing, boating, lobsters and la Bénédiction de la flotte. Like many of his fine qualities, his love and respect of the sea have been passed on to his sons and grand-children, and through each of them his spirit will remain. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle ways, his smile and words of encouragement. One of my Dad’s favourite songs was Silver Seas and for some reason it popped into my mind last night. There’s a line in it that describes both men: The Ocean has always been a part of me, I can feel the salt water running through my veins… This has been a rough 2 months for our families but one thing I’ve learned: when words no longer console you, let the water embrace you. Please know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. Amour et amitié, Lisa
