David, Amos Joseph- 76, Petit de Grat, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2012 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Petit de Grat, he was the son of the late Willie and Victoria (Samson) David. Amos was active throughout his life and loved fishing, gardening and dancing. He was a talented handyman, devoted father and loved helping his children with their many projects. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years Leona (nee Fougere) sons, Keith (Dannette), Calgary Il, Timothy (Sheila), Bedford, Daryl (Irene) Arichat, Blair (Joan), Bedford and Michael (Susie), Hammond's Plains; grandchildren, Jordan, Josh, Cody, Lauren, Michelle, Jordan, Alicia, Victoria, Justin, Andrew, Mya and Brooke; brothers, Donald and Anthony; sisters, Isabella, Edith, Elaine and Gertrude. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, 633 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Arichat on Wednesday, August 15th from 2-4 p.m. and 7 -9 p.m. Funeral Mass for Amos will be held in St. Joseph's Church in Petit De Grat on Thursday, August 16th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial will take place in the Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat. Memorial donations may be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or to the Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund.
