I was saddened to hear of Rudolph's passing. Rudy and I always had a great relationship and shared many good times and a whole lot of laughs. Unfortunately, due to work commitments, I will be unable to attend his funeral....but I will keep his memory alive in my heart and will pray for him.....our condolences to all the family.

Allister, It's been awhile since you and I spoke and I'm sorry it has to be at a time like this. My condolences to you, Valerie and Darryl. I have very fond memories of your father and they came to mind this morning when I read the obituary in today's Herald. It's somewhat ironic, and fitting perhaps that I write this from Toronto, a place I know which meant a lot to your father. I will forever remember his days as my peewee hockey coach. What he might have lacked in formal hockey training he more than made up for in enthusiasm and desire to win. We used to brag, as 11 and 12 year olds would, that we had "the best team around". We did in fact win the league trophy and, thanks in part to your father's encouragement and lots of ice time, I still have the trophy I received at the end of the season as top scorer. My first trophy ever! I will hold these thoughts as I think of you guys during this difficult time. Take Care, Don
