Condolences
I am so sorry to hear of you mom's passing. I have so many fond memories of her and your entire family. Oh the fun times we had on Honeydale Crescent. Sometimes I wonder, how your parents put up with us all. Your home was always an "open house". I hope that your special memories of your mom help heal your broken hearts and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad and difficult time.
My condolences to Rita's family - it was a pleasure knowing her all these years. She was truly one of a kind. - Mona Dawson
Laurie and Family Our deepest sympathy for your loss, may you find peace knowing that your mother is in the hands of God now where this is no pain, no suffering, only love and the ability for her to look down upon her family with God holding her hand and telling her that she can watch them from above now. Take time to reflect on the memories of your time with her, concentrating on those that make your feel the best in your time of sorrow as you remember her life, her loves and her family at this time. Our Condolences Les & Karen Lawson

To list the things i loved about Rita would take up a thousand pages. She was my second mom and never made me feel like i didnt belong. All the years we spent at the cottage, and the evenings and weekends i spent at the house, she was always there to say" hey beatle how are you" and then ask me "how is Shirley'.Even years after we moved from Honeydale I still returned there always happy to see Mrs Smith forever happy surrounded by her grandchildren. I remember one Halloween and it was pouring down rain and I was taking my daughter Trick or Treating with Joel and Craig. I got to the house and by then Nicole was soaked to the bones, she said get her out of those wet clothes and took them to the dryer. Even if it was my daughter or someone elses she cared for them all.
I wish I had visited her before she got sick, becase i know up to the time she got really sick, she would have greeted me like had seen the day before. I will aways have a place in my heart for that special lady Rita Smith
May God comforted you all during this time. Hold on the memories you have. She was a strong women and she passed her strength to each and ever one of you.
