I had the pleasure of having Deanna stay at my house over the past few years when she would come up for treatment. She always showed concern for everyone else and never for herself. Lorraine, Cecil & Family - Sherry, Joy, Melda and all those who cherished Deanna. I first came to know Deanna while taking a beginner French course at the Universite , she was an awesome instructor and made the course fun. We very quickly got to know her love for chocolate, cheesecake and many other delectable desserts. I had the pleasure of going to a movie with Deanna in Sydney with a few of our classmates and had a blast, she was always on the go and loved the movies! Deanna had an incredible spirit and love for her children like no other. I will never forget her optimism and tenacious, courageous determination during her battle with cancer. She is one of the strongest people I have ever met, I will always remember her whenever dealing with any hardship in my own life. I was truly blessed to have known her and want to express my sympathy to anyone that was lucky enough to have shared time with Deanna. She will surely be missed.
