Obituary of Deanna Lee Bond

BOND, DEANNA LEE (nee Boudreau) - It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mom, sister and friend Deanna. On Monday, January 4, 2016. at the age of 41, after a fierce and relentless battle with cancer. Daughter of Lorraine and Cecil, she is survived by her precious children, Zackery, Marissa and Gracie, her brother Chris who loved and adored her, sister in Law Tania, niece Addison, nephew Isaac, loving companion John Daigle who brought her so much happiness the past 3 years, her soul sister Sherry Boudreau and trusted friend Joy Theriault. Deanna can be described by all who knew her as kind, gentle, loving, courageous, strong willed, optimistic, generous, funny and a hero to many. She will dearly be missed by special cousins Lynne, Tanya, Michelle, Paula, Holly, Kalsey, Rebecca and Godchild Kristina, special friends Melda Dorey, Michelle Theriault, Alesha David, Alvina Samson, Lynn Theriault and Adele Boudreau, her maternal aunts MaryAnne (Gary), Viola, Diane, Rena (George), Brenda (Brad), godmother Sheila (John), maternal uncles John (Yvonne), Colin Jr (Carmella) and Allan (Terri); paternal aunts Anne (Frank), Margaret (Charlie), Brenda (Troy) and paternal uncles Phil (Diane), Anthony, Lloyd, and David (Denise); godfather Donnie (Elaine); maternal cousins Eddie, Ricky, Jimmy, John Mathew, Michael, Todd, Timmy, Barry, and Carson; paternal cousins Darlene, Tracey, Glen, Cindy, Gordie, Amanda, Debbie, Julie, Kyle, Kayla, Justin, Lori, Ricky, Mark, Ashley and Andrew; extended family Shaun Bond (father of her children), Leah Bond, Shauna (Gary), Noel and Elyse. She is predeceased by her infant daughters Mayah and Sarah; brother Cecil Jr., nanny and grandpepe Boudreau; meme and pepe Samson; uncles, Bill Bungay, John Boudreau and aunt ,Jeanine Boudreau. Visitation on Thursday, January 7th, 2016, 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 8th, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in Petit de Grat, with Father Doug MacDonald officiating. Committal to follow at the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Petit de Grat. Reception following committal at St. Joseph's Parish Hall. Memorial donations made to Cape Breton Cancer Center.
