Claire, Wilfred & Family & All of Williams extended Family: We were so very saddened to hear of William's passing. We can still picture William picking up the mail every day when we lived home & stopping at the house to drop it off. He would sit in the living room with Peter & chat for hours about the fish plant & anything else they could talk about. After we moved to Ontario, our visits home became a pattern where William would again come over to sit & talk with Peter, or when we would go visit with Aunt Florie & William, I would sit & chat with Aunt Florie & William & Peter would sit in the living room & chat the whole time. Once William moved to Louisdale & stayed with Claire & Wilfred, he would do the same thing when we came home to visit. So many times William told us how much he loved Louisdale & living with Claire & Wilfred. He even went so far as to tell us he would never move back to Sampson's Cove as he loved where he was. He loved helping Wilfred & Claire with anything that needed to be done around the house. He also loved how they would always take him places with them. Claire & Wilfred, William was very blessed to have you both take such good care of him for so long. We know Aunt Florie & Uncle Francis would have been very proud of you both & so very greatful for all the love, compassion & great care you had for him. William always had a smile on his face, never disliked anyone & would have helped anyone with anything he could do for them. God bless you William & may you rest in peace in the arms of our Lord. We will miss you on our visits, but will forever cherish the memories we made with you. Thoughts & prayers to you all. Love: Peter & Linda Ontario.

Bill was truly one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to know. A sweet man who had a perpetually positive attitude and a kind word. Sincere condolences to the family at this time of loss. May you rest in peace Bill.

To the family & Friends of William: Losing someone we love is always painful, however, we have the certainty through our faith that they go to a better place.
