Obituary of Francis William Samson

Louisdale/Samson's Cove It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother William "Billy" Samson at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on February 19, 2016 at the age of 84. Born in Samson's Cove, Billy was the son of the late Francis and Flora Samson of Samson's Cove. He leaves to mourn his passing by his brothers and sisters, Hycinth, Toronto, Delores and Johnny, Louisdale, Therese, Petit De Grat, Rene, L'Ardoise, Claire and Wilfred, Louisdale, where he lived for the last 13 years, Joseph and Anna, West Arichat, Edwin and Marie, Dartmouth, Betty and Cetus, Petit De Grat, Alfred and Connie, Boston, brother-in-law Adolphe, West Arichat; numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sisters, Lucille and Amelia; sisters Delores, Linda, and brother George in infancy; grandparents, Clara and William Samson, Mary Anne and Sylvester Samson; sister-in-laws, Mable and Pat; brother-in-law's, Berthman and Rene and nephew Billy; numerous Aunts and Uncles. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Tuesday from 2 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Petit De Grat on February 24, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating assisted by Rev. Callistus Abazie. Burial to take place in the Star of the Sea Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Gifts of Hope and Comfort.
