Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Mauger

Mauger, Mary Elizabeth - 71, West Arichat It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary which occurred on March 23, 2016 at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish, but we can rest assured that she has gone to be with her Lord. Born in Cape LaRonde, May 31, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John and Thelma (Dort) Murray. Her special handwritten notes to family, friends, pen pals and her church family were always prepared with love and encouragement and always had a God inspired message. She was one of the founding members and a very active member of the Arichat Bible Church. She was also a former employee of St. Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre in Arichat for many years. Mary devoted her life to take care of her ailing husband Dennis who passed away on September 4, 2015. She is survived by her cousins, Mathila MacRae, Arichat and Gladys MacAskill , Pembroke, Hants Co.; brother in laws, Howard (Beverly) Cape LaRonde, Warren (Jane), Louisdale, Billy (Leah), Langley, BC; sister in laws, Jean Bonin, Cape LaRonde, Margaret Roukens (Mario) of Ontario, Claire White (Jimmy), Dartmouth; she will dearly be missed by her special friends Pearl and Randy Daniels, West Arichat, and the Arichat Bible Church family. Besides her husband Dennis, she was predeceased by a brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26th in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9 p.m. from where Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Reason presiding. Burial to be held in St John Anglican Cemetery in Arichat on May 31, 2016. Memorial donations can be made to St. Martha's ICU or to the charity of your choice.
