I met Beatrix many times just in passing, usually on my way into the Villa. Each time I did she was always so warm and friendly. I knew she was kind and caring. I also heard her speak at one of the Remberance Day's services. Her story was told with such heartfelt feelings. I was so moved by her. My deepest sympathy to Dr. Howell and family.
True Princess of the Kingdom went home to be with the Lord, Beatrix Dorothea Howell. She was one who loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart, mind and soul. She radiated His love and that impacted all who came in contact with her. It was a love that flowed straight from her heart to yours. You became a better person just by being with her. I will miss her laugh, her love and her saying to me Oh thank you, lLord for my precious, precious sister Rosalind. She cheered me up so many times by saying that. She knew just what to say and when to say it and how to say it. She would ask about our son and would pray for him. She was a great encouragement to Ray and I in the work that we do for Israel. She met our greyhound Max and I had to repeatedly say to her, No Beatrix I am taking him back to Ontario with me! We would both laugh. She loved Max and he loved her. . That is part of what made her so special. She gave of herself willingly and never complained She was a true friend. I will so miss her encouragement and the wonderful phone calls and prayer times that we shared As some of you may know she and her husband Jim came many times to visit my dear mother, Charlotte Goldman when mom was in the other facility. Mom adored them both. She could not get over their kindness and love towards her and that solidified my mom coming to know the Lord. We will truly miss you, dearest Beatrix!! A true light in a world that can be very dark. God Bless You and we know that one day we will see you again. All our love, Rosalind, Ray, Joel and Max
