To Freddie and the Martel family, Our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Uncle Quentin made sure we knew where his roots were, in his beloved Little Anse. Delta always greeted us with love and kindness during our occasional summer visits as children and we felt a special connection to our distant cousins every time we met, even in Yellowknife, NWT with Jimmy. Delta was a wonderful woman who lived a full life and will be missed. Thinking of you all with love.

Dear Martell Family, Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your wife and mother Delta. Having grown up across the driveway from your family, I have many fond memories of our days growing up in Little Anse. I can't help but smile on the inside when I think about the legacy she is leaving behind. She taught a lot to her children and her children's children. Think about all the generations that have been and will be blessed by the life she lived. May God and our community give you the strength and courage to face the difficult days ahead as you adjust to your new life without her daily presence.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Delta's passing. I spent many days at her supper table growing up. No matter how many were sitting waiting for food, and there was a lot :) , she always made sure there was plenty to go around. Always the gentle and soft spoken voice and most generous person. I spend a huge amount of my life growing up at your house...always feeling welcomed by your Mom & Dad! We had many laughs and loads of fun and...spent ridiculous amounts of time eating out of their always bountiful greenhouses and gardens! I know the last few years have been tough, but I hope the memories of the many many years of happy times will fill your hearts again soon! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!
