Dear Family; Deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad. I remember George fondly from his time at Richmond Villa. Many bus trips we made together. He was a kind and thoughtful gentleman with a 'great sense of humour'. I had the opportunity to visit him several times after he moved to Halifax and he was always happy to see me. Some people leave a lasting memory and George was one of those individuals to me. I am sorry to have missed his services. We were away and only learned of his passing today. I am happy that I had the opportunity to share in George's life and considered him my friend. Our thoughts and prayers to each of you. Paula and Leo Sampson St. Peters
Our sincere sympathy to each one at this sad time. I got to know George when I worked at the Richmond Villa. He was a very nice person.

To George's family: My deepest condolences to you at this time of sadness. I was deeply saddened to hear of George's passing. I transported George back and forth to dialysis MANY times over the last few years, and every trip proved to be more entertaining than the last! He'd never let us leave without his fishing ball hat, and always tried to coax us into sneaking him some of his favorite diabetic candy without the nurses finding out. As his mind would wander, he'd question a hundred times over between the VG and Vets if he was going to be alright...but get him talking about the good ol' days in Petit de Grat, and a new sparkle lit up in his eyes. It has been a great honor to have gotten to know George over the past number of years, and his memory will forever hold a special place in my heart as my favorite patient of all time. "George, you're gonna be just fine!" Heidi Connors, Paramedic
Brenda, Jack, George, Gerard and grandchildren. Our deepest condolences on the passing of your father and grandfather. Our prayers are with you at this sad time in your lives.
Dear Brenda & Families, I was saddened to hear of your Dad, Brother and Loved one's passing. However, I have to share the first mental picture which came to mind when I heard. That was seeing Vi & Nicki's smile as he joined them. Although, I always remembered your Dad from the days in Petit de Grat, I really only got to know him when I moved in with your Auntie Vi & Uncle Doug. I can still hear the three of them talking french and laughing about the good times and early days. So although he has left all of you on earth, you can be sure that he is rejoicing with them in a better place. My condolences and prayers are with all of you. Brenda
