There was a time in my life when Hazel was like a second mother to me. Danielle and I were inseparable and Hazel was always there with open arms welcoming me in. As time passed and distance crept between us, Hazel's "parenting" continued to play a key role in my life. Her example has helped me in the way that I raise my own kids. She had such evident love for her family and grandchildren always accepting them for who they are and never judging or trying to change them. It was only a few moths ago when I was @ Danielle's and Hazel came in from a 2 hour walk with Sheldon. She seemed so healthy and vibrant. Hazel was a very special women. One who I admired and loved. I wish I could have told her that! She will be deeply missed and remembered always. I am praying for you Danielle and your family during this very difficult time.
our deepest sympathy to each and every one of you at this very difficult time

As difficult as it may be for you right now, I hope you can take solace in knowing that she isn't suffering anymore. I hope that all the wonderful memories you have of her will get you through this very difficult time. You will miss Hazel tremendously, but the pain will lessen over time. You are all in my thoughts!
