Condolences
Condolences to Bishop Vernon Fougere and members of the Fougere Family. We join with all of you in sympathy at this time of Mathilda's death. She was a neighbour and friend of John's family, thus his memories go back a long way to his many visits to her home and her kindness to him. She always welcomed Us as a family with open arms, thoughtfullness and kindness. On our many visits to Petit de Grat and later to Arichat we made sure we visited with Mathilda. Her friendly smile, concern for others and generous spirit will always remain with us as we pray for her eternal rest. We will have a Mass said for the repose of her soul very soon. May God Bless All of you at this time of sorrow.(John, Doreen & Maurice Boudreau, St. John's N.L.)
Our deepest sympathy to the Fougere family . Palmire and John
The world has lost a shinning star and heaven gained an angel. Mathilda's vocation in life was to help others. We will remember her devotion to God ,her sense of humor and her putting others before herself. What wonderful qualities for one person to possess. Just imagine the family reunion in Heaven with her mother, father , brothers and sisters. The skies will roar with laughter. Although our hearts are heavy at this time our solace going forward is the wonderful legacy that Mathilda left us.
Leona,Shirley and all Mathilda's family, So sorry to hear about her passing. She was a dear sweet lady, a real jewel. It was a pleasure to have met her and we enjoyed every visit we had with her. St. Anne's won't be the same without her. She was loved by all and will surely be missed. We are sure she has been welcomed "HOME" by all her family who have gone before her. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
