Landry, John Arthur, 79, Louisdale, passed away at his home on March 23, 2010.Born in Louisdale he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Jane (Marchand) Landry. John enjoyed his children and cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved dancing and Bingo. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 47 in Grand Anse; He is survived by his former wife Loretta Mary Landry, Louisdale and his companion, Evelyn Boudreau, Little Anse; daughter, Brenda Landry, Penticton, BC; sons, Marcel (Cynthia), Louisdale, Wayne, companion (Wanda), Coldbrook, Eddie (Nadia), Kamloops, BC, Rene, companion (Mandy), Edmonton, Ab; grandchildren, Garrett (Lindsay), Craig, Lauren, Chantal, Meagan, Devin, Jamie (Dawn), Ryan, Mackalya, Savannah, Tatanna, Yellena; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Anastasia.; brother, Rudolph, (Jean), Louisdale; sisters, Eileen Landry (Narcisse), Eva Landry (Cletus), Bernadette Sampson, Theresa Cogswell, all of Louisdale. He was predeceased by his brother Arthur. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 26th in the Glenn Sampson Room in Louisdale., from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 am in St. Louis Church, Louisdale, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. Memorial Donations can be made to the Glen Sampson Room. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd, Arichat.
