Hi Claudette...our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time. The sudden passing of your mom is difficult I'm sure, know that we will keep you in our prayers. Mom was saddened also because she spoke often of Lilly as a childhood friend. We are sorry we will miss seeing you and giving our condolences in person but we must go to Halifax for the week end for a family event. Take care of yourselves and take comfort in all the good memories.....
Although I only had the pleasure of knowing Lillian for a few years, I'd like to say she was a very special person. I work at the Bank where Lillian dealt, upon chatting she discovered I was married to a guy from Petit de Grat and she had known his family quit well. We quickly became friends, Lillian has knit me several sweaters and mittens.
She was such a sweet person and I always looked forward to seeing her each month and was very disappointed when I did not get the chance to wait on her. I could not believe the news while I was driving in my car that she had passed away, she had just been into the bank a couple of weeks prior, just as upbeat as ever.
I just thought I'd like to share this little story with you, because Lillian I'm sure touched so many. My condolences go out to all her family, I'm sure you will miss her as I will also.
