Obituary of Alfred Anselm Boudreau

Boudreau, Alfred Anselm, 79, of Sydney, formerly of Little Barrachois, Richmond County, passed away at his residence at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney, on January 8, 2011. Born in Petit-de-Grat, Anselm was the son of the late David Willard and Mary Jeanne (Landry) Boudreau. He is survived by brothers, Patrick (Theresa) and Arthur (Jessica), both of Little Barrachois, brother-in-law George Romard, Sydney; sisters, Idella Duyon, Sydney, Eleanor Briand, Pondville. He was predeceased by sisters, Estelle Boudreau , Lillian Romard; brothers, D'Entremont and Lawrence. Anselm had a great capacity to roll with the punches handed to him in life. He loved to chat, play Bingo and loved to beat anyone at cribbage, but mostly he loved to laugh. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Friday, January 14, from 12:30pm until time of Funeral Mass that will be held at 2 pm in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, officiated by Rev. Duaine Devereaux. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations can be made to The Cove Guest Home or to a charity of choice.
