We are so very sorry to hear of Roddie's passing. We remember him as a story teller when he used to stop at our house and talk about the past and people who used to live here. He always had a wave when he would drive by.

Oh! How I wish I had been in West Arichat with you all on the week end. Sympathy to each of you in Roddie's family. I will phone you guys in the next few days. Jean told me it was an unforgetable funeral.The grandchildren excellent readers. Florida is 80deg today.

Dear Roddie Family: You don't know me but since I started working at the Landfill site here in West Arichat in Oct. your Dad would drop by every couple of weeks too visit, we had great chats about everything and I know he loved his animals and farm very much. One of my great childhood memories of home was Roddie driving by either on his tractor or with his truck, giving the big wave, with the biggest and highest load of hay, you didn't think he would make it , but he always did.
