Please share a memory of Alexander to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
FERGUSON, Alexander Stevens "Sandy" - 68, Grandique Ferry Rd, Louisdale, passed away suddenly February 26, 2011. Sandy was born on December 29 , 1942 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, to the late Jo (Stevens) and Kendall Ferguson. Sandy lived life to the fullest and had a wide variety of interests. He enjoyed hockey and was a devoted fan of the Montreal Canadians. He liked to watch Nascar and his favourite driver was Matt Kenseth. He loved to drive his motorcycle, and his dog meant the world to him. Sandy seemed a natural at so many things, he was born with a gear-shift in his hand, and truck-driving was something that he and his wife Wanda enjoyed doing together immensely. Sandy was an expert marksman who enjoyed "seasonal" hunting; but his most natural talent was his insane ability to get under someone's hide, for he would often come home after being at the coffee club and laugh for hours about getting under someone's skin. Sandy always had a steady supply of sarcastic wit, and no fear of sharing! He is survived by the love of his life(they were joined at the hip and inseparable) his wife Wanda (Jean) Ferguson; his daughters Brianna (Evan) Larade, and Kendra Ferguson; his sons Conway (Kelly) Ferguson, and Chris Preston; his grandchildren Connor Larade, and Brooklyn and Joshua Musgrave; his sisters Barbara (the late Al) Lewis, Joan Ferguson, and Micki ( Robert Burton); his brother Kendall (Carol) Ferguson; his special Uncle, Ted Stevens; many nieces and nephews; and many many friends far and wide. A Celebration of Life for Sandy will be held on Saturday March 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lion's Den in Louisdale, all are welcome to offer their condolences and to share a story. Memorial donations may be made directly to the family or through Louisdale Credit Union. Arrangements entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat, Nova Scotia.
