My Deepest and Sincere Sympathy goes out to all the Martel Family in the loss of a Wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Cousin and Card Player. You were always welcome to enter her home and have a cup of tea with some snacks and delicious sweets that she had baked. She was loved by all and will surely be missed. She is now up with God and all the Angels. Sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral as my Daughters had to work and I don't drive down that road. Love and Prayers are with you all.
Love Peggy

Verona, Lloyd, Rose Marie, Donald Blair & All your Families,
We are so very heart broken to hear of Alma’s passing.
What an amazing cousin she was to us all. She treated so many of us like her own.
Alma was so much fun to be around. It was two and a half years since I saw her, but that was due to covid.
Every year, going home for Holliday’s, I always enjoyed our visits with her. The last time we were there to visit will forever be a memory I will cherish. She had a macaroni soup ready for us which was to follow with a game of cards.
We never got to play cards as the joking started, laughing until we were in pain.
Alma at home could be the ball of the party. She was not afraid to act or say something silly.
I would call her sometimes. Even over the phone, Alma could make me laugh till I cried.
Alma & Lawrence were a big part of our family. They treated every one of our family, Uncle Albenie family, Aunt Roses family & Aunt Marys family (these were her first cousins) to a wedding feast for every one of their children. They had free liquor & food galore for all the wedding party & family. This was a traditional thing they did for us all.
Alma had a heart of gold, was a great cousin, friend, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt & everything you could think of to so many. We were always treated with great love. She had so much love to give & made sure she did.
We will miss you so Alma. This was so sudden, we did not all have time to say goodbye. I thank Rose Marie, for putting the phone to her ear so I could tell her how much I loved her & to give everyone our love as well as to continue to make them laugh in heaven as I know she surely received her angel wings. She deserved them.
To All the family, my heart is home with you all. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all now & in the difficult days ahead.
R.I.P. Alma. As she would tell me, “Ma Bat,”
Love Peter & Linda.
With our deepest and sincerest sympathy on your loss. I know Alma will be missed by all.
