Condolences
So sad to hear of my friend Sunvar’s passing, the kindness that Sunvar showed and the smile he had I will always cherish, Sunvar was given the name Siqiniq which means Sun in Inuktitut, this name fit Sunvar perfectly as he would bring sunshine to the room with his smile and kindness.
My sincere condolences to the families, rest easy my friend.

My condolences to the family. Sunvar I am happy that you came to your daughters wedding day and shared our special day with us. So little time spent but precious time and memorable time for us. Maria Louise, Kailey and Sandy he will always be with you in many ways.
My deepest condolences to Sunvar´s daughters and all family members. Through my work for AFA I had the pleasure of working with Sunvar quite regularly since year end 2018. Sunvar was a unique man; although hard working, knowledgeable and serious in his work he was always joyful, polite and brough an aura of warmth, positivity, and kindness with him. He was a good person and a gentleman through and through.
Meeting him on his trips to Iceland was always a pleasure and I will greatly miss those moments. Every meeting with Sunvar was pleasant and a good one, no matter the circumstances. Such people are a rarity, and Sunvar will undoubtedly be greatly missed by everyone that got to know him.
My thoughts are with his family during this hard time.

Dear Kailey, Sandy, Maria Louise & families.
I would like to offer my deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad, my co-worker, Sunvar.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sunvar on September 24, 2016 when he walked off a Westjet flight fresh from Iqaluit. Being an avid outdoorsman & walker, Sunvar was excited to get to know the area.
His first Fish & Chips from Ches's, his first visit to George Street, his love for The Battery and Signal Hill. He was anxious to see and experience all St. John's and surrounding areas had to offer.
Sunvar was a friend to all who knew him and I will truly miss him.
Sunvar, when I hear an accordion, I will think of you fondly.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. It was such a joy to work with Sunvar. He always had a kind word and no matter how busy always made time to listen. I will miss seeing his smile everyday it brought such warmth to the office. His whole face would light up when he talked of his family and retiring in Nova Scotia. He was so looking forward to surprising his mom with a visit when his work trip was done this time. I am so sorry he never got to do that. He will never be forgotten, and his loss will be felt by many.

To all Sunvar's family members, I am so, so sorry for your great loss. Sunvar was as kind and gentle a man as you would ever meet. Although our companies are in some ways competitors, Sunvar was always willing to help out in any way he could - and with his great knowledge, he was always helpful. I always looked forward to meetings with Sunvar; if he was in the room, you knew it was going to be a fruitful, pleasant meeting, no matter who else was there, or what was on the agenda. Sunvar often spoke of his family and he was so looking forward to retiring so he could spend more time with his children and grandchildren. Sunvar was greatly respected throughout the fishing industry, and is deeply missed.
