BONA, Lillian Ethel, Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Poulamon, passed away peacefully at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital on April 26, 2023. Born January 26, 1931, in Poulamon, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva Mae (Boudreau) LeBlanc. Lillian had a kind heart, a love of cats, and a sweet tooth. She was fondly referred to as “Ninny” by her great-grandkids. Lillian adored music, especially a good fiddle tune. She will now be reunited with her life-long friends Mildred and Jeanette and her late husband Frankie. Lillian is survived by her daughter Faye Doyle (David), New Glasgow; grandchildren Justin Doyle (Marie Lann), New Glasgow, and Tracy Doyle (Ian Thompson), Halifax; great-grandchildren William, Alex, and Rebeca Thompson, of Halifax. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her nephew, Emerand LeBlanc, and the Pettipas family for the love and companionship they’ve provided to Lillian over the years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd from 6 – 8 pm in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
