Obituary of Mary Madona Samson

Samson, Mary Madona - 83, Walkerville, formerly of Little Anse, passed away on January 26, 2008 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney.
Born in Cabbage Cove, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Cecile (Martell) Martell. She was a member of the Social Action Centre in Little Anse.
She is survived daughters, Brenda Samson (Mark), Arichat, Sandra Scanlan, (Darrell), Walkerville; grandchildren, Angele Richard (Omer), Laurier Samson, Caitlin Scanlan, Catisha Scanlan,Kalem Scanlan and great-grandson Noah Richard. Madona is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is predeceased by her husband John Lawrence; sons, Thomas and Alvin; brothers Wilfred, Lawrence, Andrew, Peter and Alexie, sister, Madona.
Visitation will be held in the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat this evening from 6 �" 9pm and on Tuesday from noon till 2pm. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Madona will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3pm in St. Joseph's Church in Petit De Grat with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial to take place in the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Petit De Grat at a later date. Family flowers only.
Memorial donations can be made to St Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat or to St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery Fund.
